An industry day takes place every year at Langley School where people from the local industries are invited to come and review the work that has been done by the students throughout the year. The industrialists are then welcome to talk to the students in an effort to incorporate their company with the students’ projects.
June 2005 marked the first industry day, and it was here where Mr. Daly introduced Thomas Pritchard, AS Student at Langley School, to Anthony Bushell, a senior designer from Lotus Cars. Before long they were discussing ways of having his forthcoming AS Level Design and Technology project sponsored by Lotus.
